Bring 18l up to 70C
Steeped grains 30min (90g chocalate 15min) at 66-76 for 30 minutes
Brought 18l up to boil
Added LME
Waited for hot break, added Pacific Gem/Armarillo. Began 60 minute clock
At 30 min added aroma Hallertauer Hersbrucker
At 10 min added chiller
At 5 min added aroma Hallertauer Hersbrucker

Pitched rehydrated yeast

150g priming sugar

0Target OG 1.055; testing a bit higher but not really mixed. Should follow up tomorrow. this is a test of the emergency broadcast system
20Bottling day; gold caps. Surprisingly low FG (est. 1.017, great attenuation! - est ABV 5.48%). Tasted great even now. No green flavors, interesting.
53One of my best! Very positive response from all (even wife). Well balanced, clean, dunkle with great style. Must be repeated.
