DayEntry
0Boiled down to 15. Should have started with more water.
2Intense bubbling the first day has drastically died down. Removed overflow tonight (could have yesterday). Temp at 22 w/ heater. Must get bungs, iodophor, bulk extract.
18Not certain we have official measurement for OG. FG high at 1.022 (should be 1.016). Debating whether to bottle as planned. Bottles last batch 4 days earlier and it was well ready. Have to assume that heat was too high or other factors account for poor yeast performance.
28First taste: pronounced but reserved hoppiness, mouthfeel and body appropriate to style, still needs to condition for a bit more carbonation. so far so good!
